Applicants are invited to submit entries for the IDA Young Commercial Designer of the Year Competition @ ScotHot 2011. This is a great opportunity for a young designer to gain recognition for their commercial talent and ability. The winner will have the opportunity to have their design built on the BCFA Interiors and Design Pavilion at ScotHot 2011.

All entries should be submitted no later than the 22nd October 2010 and they should be sent to ScotHot 9 Manchester Square London W1U 3PL or e-mailed to scothot@montex.co.uk. The applications should:
- Contain sketches and written explanations of how the design meets the criteria. (see application pdf above)
- List of the suppliers who have agreed to supply the sample products required to be used when building the room at ScotHot 2011. The applicant will be expected to source all the products that will be featured in their design. The suppliers of the products will receive recognition at the entrance to the winning room design on the BCFA pavilion.
The successful applicant as well as two highly commended applicants will be informed by 12th November 2010.

- The title of the IDA Young Commercial Designer of the Year together with a certificate and trophy
- The opportunity to have their design built on the BCFA Interiors and Design Pavilion@ScotHot 2011 and receive pre and post show publicity.
- £1000 cash prize
- A weekend away in a Wyndham Group hotel
